It is located on a quiet owner-occupied residential street in the... historic Moreland Street neighborhood district. The majority of houses were built in the 1840s and feature gingerbread detail. The stairs to the second floor are immediately to the right as you enter the house. The first floor is an open floor plan, with kitchen living/dining room area, master bath, and bedroom. The house is "green" and was built in 2019.There are a front and rear door on first floor. There are two bedrooms on second floor, one of which is reserved for occasional guests. At that time the bathroom will be shared. The bedrooms are fully furnished with large closets, dressers, comfortable chairs and colorful prints and kilim carpets. All rooms have large windows with curtains. There is a bathroom with tub, shower, sink/mirror cabinet and toilet on second floor.

The house is owner-occupied by a community activist, former education administrator, and
adjunct professor who speaks some French, Spanish, and Swedish. The other occupant is a 12-pound rescue, cairn/yorkie dog, Maja. She greets everyone with loud barking and quiets down as soon as you say hello to her.

An international, mature, female, graduate student or faculty/staff tenant is preferred.

Rent is to be paid on a monthly basis $1,000 and will be a renewable month-to-month lease. The rent includes walking my dog in the park down the street for 15 minutes in the morning around 9 a.m. and in the afternoon around 5 p.m. It includes putting out the trash on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
